Regarding your upcoming trip to APKASS & IFOSMA 2024, we have the following recommendations:

Arrival Airport: We suggest that you choose Haikou Meilan Airport (HAK) as your destination. The conference organizers have arranged a complimentary shuttle service from Haikou to Boao, departing every hour. 

Visa:

Visa Exemption: Haikou offers a visa exemption policy. If you travel via Hong Kong or South Korea to Haikou, no visa is required.
Visa Required: If your route to Haikou Airport includes mainland China (e.g., Shanghai, Beijing or Guangzhou), a Chinese visa will be necessary. Should you need to apply for a visa, please provide a copy of your passport’s photo page, and we will furnish you with an invitation letter to support your visa application.

1. Hainan Province has a visa-free policy with 59 countries, and countries flying to Hainan can use the visa-free policy. Visa-free countries include: Russia, UK, France, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Monaco, Belarus.Note: The above visa-free policy is only applicable within Hainan Province. If you want to travel to other parts of China, you still need to apply for a Chinese visa. 

2. Travelers from various countries can fly to Hong Kong and then transit to Hainan. If they are eligible for the 59 visa-free countries policy in Hainan, they can also enter Hainan without a visa upon arrival.
